Custom Plantation Shutters in San Diego & Oʻahu
Wood and composite shutters, custom built for your windows and installed by our own team.

Wood Shutters
Wood Shutters can be customized with an assortment of paints, stains, options, and upgrades.

Composite Shutters
Composite Shutters are more durable, designed to last even longer than our already durable wood shutters.
Shutters are the longest-lasting window covering you can put in a home. They add real value to the house, clean up easily, and give you full light control by just tilting the louvers. Elite Interiors has measured and installed custom shutters since 2003, in homes and businesses across San Diego County and all of Oʻahu.
Wood or composite?
Composite shutters are built to resist moisture, so they won’t warp, crack, peel or fade. They are the right choice for kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and any window that gets heavy sun or coastal air.
Hardwood shutters are lighter and show real wood grain. They are ideal for living rooms, bedrooms and offices away from moisture, and they can be stained as well as painted.
Sizes and styles
- Louvers in 2½”, 3½” and 4½” — larger louvers give you more view when they’re open.
- Full-height, café-style and tier-on-tier panels.
- Arched and specialty shapes, bypass track for sliding doors, and French door shutters.
- Hidden tilt rods, a range of whites and paint colors, and custom stains on wood.
How it works
We bring samples to your home, measure every window, and give you a written quote at a free in-home consultation. Your shutters are custom built and installed by our own installers, usually about 4–6 weeks from final measure. We also service and repair shutters from the brands we carry.
